Inventory Control Assistant

Job Description

Inventory Control Assistant will be responsible for oversight of raw materials inventory, data review, and supervision of incoming raw materials and consumptions. The candidate will have an acute attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to multi-task.



  • Assist in coordinating of inventory according to incoming orders.
  • Manage inventory, resolve discrepancies, and generate reports.
  • Own appropriate departmental processes and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Recommend changes for process improvement to increase efficiency and productivity within the team and/or overall organization
  • Work collaboratively with Lead Inventory Control Specialist, Accounting, Purchasing, and Sales Departments. Working in those Departments when necessary.


Skills & qualifications

  • Must be computer literate including but not limited to; Outlook, Excel, Word & Access
  • Previous experience in Quick Books is preferred not required.
  • Previous experience in with Inventory control, preferred not required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a good employment history of training, decision making, and efficiency.
  • Ability to perform tasks consistently and accurately.
  • Must have strong math and problem solving skills.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, energetic and able to multi-task
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

General Labor – Night Shift

Job Description

  • Stacking, and cutting lumber.
  • Lifting, pushing and pulling 25-50lbs frequently (more than 50lbs occasionally).
  • Continuous bending, stooping and squatting.
  • Following safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.



  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Bending, walking and lifting up to 25-50lbs on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to work night shift (6:00 pm – 330 am), overtime and weekends when needed.
  • Team player.

Night Shift (6:00 pm – 3:30 am)

$10.00/hour starting pay. Previous production experience is preferred but not required.

*Must submit to a drug screen.
