Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  As a member of the Graf Brothers Flooring, Inc. Procurement Staff, you will assist in supplying logs to 4 sawmills.  You will be responsible for purchasing logs from your designated area. Reporting directly to the Procurement Leader, you will:

  • Purchase logs within Graf Brothers Flooring, Inc. Procurement guidelines
  • Coordinate all day-to-day activities with Administrative Office for your designated area
  • Assist in maintaining target inventories for 4 sawmills
  • Manage and promote positive supplier relationships
  • Personally promote and encourage a safe working environment for yourself, your fellow employees, suppliers, and contractors



  • Competent computer skills
  • Ability to work a long, flexible schedule mostly outdoors
  • Capable of working both in a team environment and alone with little supervision
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong commitment to personal, team, and supplier/contractor safety
  • Strong skills in problem solving & ability to work through conflict
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to develop peer-to-peer relationships
  • Heavy equipment experience is a plus



Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of practical log procurement experience preferred but not required
  • Degree in Forestry related studies a plus
  • Knowledge of YardMaster 2020 Log
